Joining
All artists, designers and creative businesses are invited to apply for a studio at Make Space Studios. The studio likes to keep a healthy diversity of disciplines active in the spaces so it may be a little wait for a space to come up – or you might get a call back within days, it purely depends on availability, the current demographic and wait list.
All studios sizes typically operate a waiting list. If you would like to be considered for a space please complete our application form, indicating the type of studio you would prefer and we will be in touch as soon as we have suitable availability. We may also contact you, if we have a space that we have no suitable candidates for, that was not your first choice.
You will then be invited to come in for a viewing and meeting with management. If both parties think it would be a beneficial arrangement you will be appointed a studio.
Once appointed a studio, you will be provided with a welcome pack including your License Agreement with Terms and Conditions that you will need to complete, sign and return along with the initial payment. The initial payment will consist of a 1 month security deposit, £35 administration fee and the space hire fee pro-rata to the end of the month. The monthly hire is due by the 1st of the month every month.
Leaving
If you decide to terminate your studio hire agreement, we simply require 30 days written notice. Studio hire fees must be paid up until the date of departure and your security deposit will be returned after final inspection of your clean, empty studio and key return.
