Isabelle Brodeur discovers a passion for art at a very young age. She has exhibited in Montreal, London, and Hong Kong.

Born in Quebec, Canada, she studies in Graphic Design in Montreal. She then attends Visual Art School and graduated with distinction. Her first exhibition, at the graduate students visual art exhibit, took place in 1996. She continues painting and starts exploring different style of painting. She slowly develops her own esthetic language. She decided to take a break from her studies and in 1997 moved to London, where she lived for 2 years. Upon her return to Montreal, she plunged back into her studies, specializing in Beaux-Arts at Concordia University. She graduates in 2003 and made her first solo exhibition in November 2004, held in Montreal. Throughout her studies, she painted in a more rigorous way, which enabled her to develop her own style. She starts to paint abstract so she could remind herself to always look at things from a different angle. Since then, she moved back to London in 2006 and painted several new pieces. She has moved to Hong Kong from 2009-2011 and made a very successful exhibition in July 2011 before returning to London. Travelling has always been a great source of inspiration for her. After living in New York City for 3 years from 2012-2015, she moved back in London where she is preparing a new exhibition.

All of her projects have been connected in one way or another through her travels and experiences. The new places she lives and visits are a great source of inspiration for her. Returning to London has opened a new chapter for her and her art has taken a new direction since she moved. Painting will always be a base of stability for her; it is her universe of expression.
